Conference Speakers’ Books are Available in the Library

This year’s clinical conference, “A Culture of Excellence: Inspired Care,” features Liz Jazwiec, RN, and Rich Bluni, RN. Both are nationally recognized speakers and authors of bestselling books that talk about their experiences in health care. These books are now available in the Ministry Health Care Health Science Library.

Eat That Cookie! Make Workplace Positivity Pay…For Individuals, Teams and Organizations, by Liz Jazwiec, offers strategies to create a positive workplace and discusses how these strategies can translate into improved patient care and employee satisfaction. Eat THAT Cookie! was chosen as a winner of the American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year award in the leadership and management category.

Inspired Nurse, by Rich Bluni, RN, will help readers reconnect to the inspired feeling that brought them to nursing in the first place. The strategies outlined in this book will help readers learn how to keep going when life and work becomes difficult.

To check out either of these books, contact Deb Knippel by phone at 65091 or 715-346-5091 or email at Deb.Knippel@ministryhealth.org.
